Developed recreation sites to temporarily close on Medicine Bow-Routt National
Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland
(LARAMIE, Wyo.) March 26, 2020 – The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland (MBRTB) has begun the orderly closure of developed recreation sites. This management action intends to protect public health and safety and align with state and local measures already in place to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Closures will be in effect until April 30, 2020 at which point, they will be reevaluated.
