Converse County School District #1

CCSD #1 recognizes that our students and parents come to rely on our Nutrition Services Department to
provide their child the very best in nutritional meals. To meet the needs of our students during the COVID-19
school closure, CCSD#1 will be offering Grab-n-Go breakfast/lunch combo bags.

Beginning Tuesday March 24th CCSD#1 Nutrition Services Department will provide FREE OF CHARGE
“Grab-n-Go” Breakfast and Lunch in one combined sack every day, to any student that is enrolled in the
school district!
We have combined the meals into one bag to minimize exposure to staff, students and parents.
Each child can get one bag per day! All meals will meet the National School Lunch Program nutritional

We are STRONGLY encouraging parents to preorder your meals by going to the following link at: We will post this link on the CCSD#1 website at Converse County School District #1 Nutrition Services Facebook page, all school
Facebook pages, and other social media sites for parent access to sign up. This will help us determine how
many Grab-no-Go meals to prepare on any given day, and will expedite this process. However, if you do not
preorder your meals you Will NOT BE TURNED AWAY, just understand you may have to wait a little
longer. This will also help us when it comes time to order more product.

The meals can be picked up at three locations in their school’s parent drop off or bus loop locations;
Douglas Primary School (The loop in front of the gym)
Douglas Upper Elementary School (Bus loop west side of the building)
Douglas Middle School (East side of building by tennis courts/ gym doors)

Pickup times are from 7:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday.

For homebound children/families, we will offer a delivery service through our CCSD#1 Transportation
Department. Please fill out the pre-order form 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE and check the option for meal
delivery to your door.
Your address and phone number will be needed for this service. CCSD#1 bus drivers
will deliver the order to the address given on the form during the hours of 7am- 1pm. They will drop off the
meals, ring or knock on the door and leave. This is to minimize exposure. If you do not have access to a
computer and want to be added to the delivery service, please call CCSD#1 Transportation Department at

Converse County School District #2

CCSD2 is providing a Grab and Go Lunch for any student K-12 during the emergency closure. The lunches are FREE and will be available for students Monday-Friday through April 3rd. There are two ways for parents and students to order lunch. They can call 307-436-9201 or complete the form at the following link:

 Parents and students can pick up the lunches from 11:00-12:00 at the North entrance of Glenrock Jr/Sr High School. District staff will have the lunches ready to bring out to parents and students to limit physical contact. We also have district staff available to deliver lunches to any student at the their home during the closure as well. Anyone needing a lunch delivered can email Matt Miller, Transportation Direction, at or when they call (307-436-9201). We really hope that everyone takes advantage of these lunches!!!
