Terri has spent more than ten years in public safety communications, working for centers in Idaho and Wyoming.  She is a Certified Center Manager through the National Emergency Number Association and has many earlier years’ experience in the medical field and the private sector in business management.

Terri has been with Converse County as the Public Safety Communications Manager for the Converse County Joint Communications Center since September 2017.  During her time in telecommunications she has served as Call Taker, Radio Dispatcher, Communications Training Officer, Terminal Agency Coordinator, Communications Operation Supervisor, Communications Administrative Supervisor, and Communications Manager.  Terri is excited to work with partners in Converse County to launch the new Joint Communications Center and improving public safety communications for the community.

Terri has served as the Wyoming APCO – NENA Chapter’s 2nd Vice President since November 2014.  This has given her the unique insight into the needs of not only her staff but telecommunicators state-wide.  She shares valuable information with state telecommunicators from board members and the national APCO and NENA organizations through the chapter’s newsletter she writes and distributes to communications centers in the state of Wyoming.

In her spare time, Terri has volunteered in various P.T.A. leadership positions, as an AYSO soccer coach and referee, Girl Scouts troop leader, and is a crafter and wedding planner on the side.  Terri and her husband now reside in Douglas and have four sons and one daughter as well as three grandchildren.
