Hunting Information in Converse County, Wyoming

Converse County Hunting Area Maps are currently available for purchase in the Converse County Treasurer's and Assessor's Office.

The Wyoming Game & Fish website at http://gf.state.wy.us/ has a wealth of information available to hunters. If you wish to look at current regulations, applications, or areas, please select “Hunting”, then “Hunting Home” in the drop down menu. Under that menu, scroll down to 2008 Application Forms. Under this heading, select the 2008 Nonresident Booklet - Big Game or 2008 Resident Booklet - Big Game. The entire booklet, or portions of the booklet, is available in Adobe format.

The Douglas Area Chamber of Commerce has information available on landowners in specific areas of Converse County that you can contact for access to their land. While it may not list all landowners who allow hunting, it is a starting place. Usually, if one landowner cannot accommodate you, they will know of another landowner in their “area” who may allow hunting.
